ITC Institutes Investigation (337-TA-739) Regarding Certain Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters
On October 5, 2010, the U.S. International Trade Commission issued a press release announcing that it voted to institute an investigation of Certain Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters and Products Containing Same (Inv. No. 337-TA-739).
The investigation is based on a September 3, 2010 complaint filed by Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc. of Melville, New York alleging violation of Section 337 in the importation into the U.S. and sale of certain ground fault circuit interrupters and products containing the same which infringe certain claims of U.S. Patent Nos. 7,463,124, 7,737,809, and 7,764,151.
