On July 13, 2011, the U.S. International Trade Commission issued a press release announcing that it voted to institute an investigation of Certain Motion-Sensitive Sound Effects Devices And Image Display Devices and Components and Products Containing Same (Inv. No. 337-TA-787).

The investigation is based on an June 13, 2011 complaint and June 17 and 29 supplements to the complaint filed by Ogma, LLC of Longview, Texas alleging violation of Section 337 in the importation into the U.S. and sale of certain motion-sensitive sound effects devices and image display devices and components and products containing same that infringe one or both of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,150,947 and 5,825,427.  See our June 15, 2011 post for more details.

According to the Notice of Investigation, the ITC has identified the following entities as the respondents in this investigation:
