On May 18, 2012, the U.S. International Trade Commission issued a press release announcing their vote to institute an investigation of Certain Electronic Devices Having A Retractable USB Connector (Inv. No. 337-TA-843).

The investigation is based on an April 18, 2012 complaint filed by Anu IP LLC of Longview, Texas alleging violation of Section 337 in the importation into the U.S. and sale of certain electronic devices having a retractable USB connector that infringe one or more claims of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,979,210 and 7,090,515.  See our April 19, 2012 post for more details.
