On April 3, 2017, ALJ Theodore R. Essex issued Order No. 28 in Certain RF Capable Integrated Circuits and Products Containing the Same (Inv. No. 337-TA-982).

By way of background, this investigation is based on a December 15, 2015 complaint filed by ParkerVision, Inc. alleging violation of Section 337 in the importation into the U.S. and sale of certain radio frequency (“RF”) capable integrated circuits, including RF receivers, RF transmitters, RF transceivers, and products containing same that infringe one or more claims of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,879,817; 7,929,638; 8,571,135; and 9,118,528. See our December 15, 2015 and January 21, 2016 posts for more details on the complaint and the notice of investigation, respectively.

According to Order No. 28, ALJ Essex granted Complainant’s motion for termination of the investigation based on a withdrawal of its complaint as to the remaining respondents in this investigation.
